What is a workshop?
Workshops are what we call our group-processing model of citizenship applications. We schedule applicants pre-screened as eligible to apply for appointments to complete their applications with trained volunteers. This allows us to serve many more immigrants while engaging volunteers in the citizenship process!
What do I need to volunteer at the virtual workshop?
What will I do at the workshop?
Application assistance: Non-attorneys and/or first-time volunteers who have done the required training fill out the citizenship application with a pre-screened applicant.
Quality control: Licensed attorneys who have done the required training review the completed citizenship application with a pre-screened applicant, checking for thoroughness, accuracy, and eligibility red flags.
