Thank you for your interest in becoming a Census Volunteer with Project Citizenship!

The census counts every person living in the 50 states, District of Columbia, and 5 U.S. territories every ten years. Census data is used to determine federal funding, the number of seats each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives, and they are used to draw congressional and state legislative districts. It is critical everyone is counted.

Your role: After citizenship workshops, clients will have the opportunity to use our computers to fill out the census. You will be answering popular questions and giving guidance on special circumstances clients may have. We will provide all training.

Please fill out the form below to register to volunteer, you will receive an email confirming dates as the workshop comes closer. Please note, this is a volunteer position with Project Citizenship, you will not be an official census worker.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at bsanchez@projectcitizenship.org
