Data Security
This page informs you of our policy regarding the security of personal data when using our services, as well as the protective measures we use to keep your data safe.
At Project Citizenship, we value data security whether it’s in paper, electronic, or other forms. Each year we update and distribute a copy of our WISP policy to each employee, including part-time, temporary, and contract employees, independent contractors, and each Board Member. As a condition of their employment, contract, or board service, all employees, independent contractors, and Board Members must sign an acknowledgment and certification.
What is a WISP?
WISP stands for ‘Written Information Security Program’. Our WISP policy is for the protection of “personal information”, such as first name and last name in combination with any one or more of the following data information:
- Social Security number
- driver’s license number
- financial account number, or credit or debit card number that would permit access to financial accounts.
- personally identifiable health information
