Mission and Values
Mission Statement
Project Citizenship seeks to increase the naturalization rate in New England, with a focus on the most vulnerable and disadvantaged populations.
What We Do
We are a nonprofit agency that provides free, high-quality legal services to permanent residents to help them become U.S. citizens. Project Citizenship offers free workshops, eligibility screening, application assistance, legal referrals, and all materials needed to apply for U.S. citizenship. In addition, Project Citizenship works collaboratively with community-based partners in New England to provide a range of support services, civics instruction, application assistance, and ESOL classes.
Why We Do What We Do
Project Citizenship is a client-centered nonprofit organization. We firmly believe that immigrants are an integral part of a healthy U.S. society. We focus exclusively on increasing access to U.S. citizenship because we believe that focusing our modest resources on what we do best is the most effective way to ensure the highest quality of services and the best outcome for our clients.
